I am a good mother, really! So, Makai fell out of the cart at Costco yesterday. I am mostly to blame for not buckling him in like I ALWAYS do. I don't know what I was thinking. Brian had a hand in it too I found out later. He jerked the cart backwards which caused Makai, who was climbing around, to lose his balance and tumble out onto the concrete floor. With many witnesses I might add. I had a lady loudly comment for my benefit that that is the very reason she leaves her kids at daycare while she shops. Poor kids. Makai is fine and will recover from the bump on the head. I cannot say the same for that poor ladies children who are stuck in day care. Enough said.
I am in a creating frenzie trying to get ready for Christmas. Making cards, blankets, pajamas, pillow cases and gifts of all varieties. It's fun to feel creative. It's fun to make things and I enjoy working on projects. I have way too many going on right now. But better than being bored right? Well, motherhood awaits and the troops must be fed. Tata!

okay so it is part of mother hood to drop or bounce forthat matter your child on there head and not to sound mean or ony thing but I think that the little guy will think twice before he stands in the cart again so don't worry you are still a good mother!!!
As for the lady that thinks her s*** don't stink......... she will be the one who's kids find the old b**** a home when she is old (after all they would not want to have to take her into public when she is crazy old and wearing a DIAPER) so good for you!!!!!
Hey! How fun to find that you have a blog! We should start a club for people whose kids fall out of shopping carts. Gwen fell out on the eve of her first birthday. It was so sad, and I've felt like a horrible mother since, so I am happy to hear that I am not the only one and that an extraordinary mother, such as yourself, also has these kind of experiences ;)
